TA Taipei Angels Investment aims to invest in startups as angel investors. Beyond providing appropriate funding support, its partners also offer professional consulting and resources in business management, market development, profitability models, human resources planning, internal control management, and corporate governance.

Founded in September 2017, Smart Capital is an angel investor community. In recent years, it has used high-level crowdfunding to diversify investment risks and trains angel investors through systematic methodologies to improve their startup evaluation skills, thereby increasing overall investment success rates.

By providing advisory support during startup acceleration programs, Smart Capital helps early-stage teams achieve rapid short-term growth, aiming to be a trusted partner in Taiwan’s entrepreneurial journey. To date, it has invested in over 30 startup teams. Its membership exceeds 160 angel investors across Taiwan, including Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung, with members comprising successful entrepreneurs, second-generation business owners, startup CEOs, and senior executives. It has become the largest and most active private angel investment network in Taiwan.

We believe that the greatest contribution to society is to encourage aspiring young entrepreneurs, help them succeed, create more job opportunities, stimulate the economy, and benefit the nation. Therefore, the motto of NCTU Angel Club is: “Encourage Entrepreneurship, Create Jobs, Stimulate Economy, Benefit the Nation.” We hope to integrate NCTU resources, encourage alumni from both sides of the Taiwan Strait to start businesses, and achieve the three steps of entrepreneurship: certain success, rapid success, and great success.
