About the Company
The origin of 『藝起來串臉社會企業』: It began in November 2014 when Xiao Cao saw a painting on Facebook. The subject of that portrait was a "neurofibromatosis (NF) patient." The pearl-like small tumors on her body allowed Xiao Cao to know at a single glance that she had NF. Inspired by Rachel Mindrup, the 『藝起來串臉』 Facebook fan page was established on October 9, 2015, and began planning the "Neurofibromatosis (NF) Patients' Life Story Exhibition." Combined with the opportunity provided by Yuan Ze University to participate in the "Art Market" and the public welfare support from friends at the "Pure Handmade Fun" partnership, we began to provide "employment opportunities for disadvantaged NF patients" through "markets" and "handmade products." In mid-May 2018, when the exhibition was held, we also provided wages to the NF patients who staffed the exhibition.
